The programme guide — the on-screen schedule showing what is playing now and what is next, usually called the EPG — is a separate thing from the channel list itself. It is entirely possible for channels to play perfectly while the guide is blank, wrong, or stuck on yesterday's schedule.
Give it longer than you think
On first login, or after a large update to the channel lineup, the guide can take several minutes to populate fully even after the channel list itself is already working. This is the single most common cause of an apparently broken guide: it is not broken, it is still loading. Leave the app open on a channel for a few minutes before assuming anything is wrong.
Check whether it's a login-method issue
With Xtream Codes, the guide usually loads automatically as part of the server connection. With an M3U playlist, some player apps need a separate EPG URL entered alongside the playlist link — if your app has a field labelled something like "EPG URL" or "XMLTV URL" that you left blank, that is very likely the cause.
Clear the app's cache
A stale local cache is a common cause of a guide that loads but shows outdated information — yesterday's schedule, or a lineup that no longer matches the actual channel list. Clearing the player app's cache (not the whole device) and reopening it usually forces a fresh download of the guide data.
Check the times are actually wrong, not just displayed differently
Guide data is normally supplied in a standard time format and converted to your local time by the player app. If your device's system time zone is set incorrectly, every programme time will be off by a consistent number of hours — which looks like a broken guide but is actually a device settings problem. Check your device's date and time settings, including whether it is set to update automatically, before assuming the guide data itself is wrong.
If only the guide is affected
When channels play normally but the guide stays broken after trying the above, message us and tell us specifically that playback works and only the guide is affected — that detail narrows the cause considerably compared with a general "it's not working" report, and lets us skip straight to checking the guide feed itself.
If channels themselves are also affected, that is a different and broader problem — the service status and troubleshooting page covers that properly from the start.
